System check
Verify the exact system
Use the product page and supplied manual to confirm voltage, wattage, cut-out size, IP rating and included components. Product-specific instructions always take precedence over this general guide.
Installation guide
A practical sequence for planning, checking and installing a Begaman system. Always follow the instructions supplied with the exact product.

Planning
Mark fixture positions and check spacing from edges, beams and other services. Plan where the matched driver and controls will remain accessible, protected and ventilated. Do not drill until the complete layout has been checked.
Compatibility
Lay out the fixtures, cables, splitters, driver and controller without permanently mounting them. Confirm every connector reaches, all parts belong to the same compatible system and nothing is damaged or missing.
Mounting
Use the exact product cut-out or mounting dimensions. Protect the finished surface, remove debris and make sure each fixture sits securely without pinching its cable. Never alter a fitting to force it into place.
Connections
Keep power disconnected while making connections. Follow the system diagram and connect only the specified fixtures, cables, driver and controls. Any work on mains voltage must be completed and checked by a qualified electrician.
Protection
Position the driver, controller and connections exactly as their individual IP ratings allow. Keep accessible components away from standing water, excessive heat and insulation, and maintain the ventilation stated in the product instructions.
Commissioning
Restore power only after the installation has been checked. Test every fixture, dimming or smart control and confirm stable operation. Keep the order details, product manual and final configuration for future support.
Disconnect power first. Check that every plug is fully seated, the fixture and driver are compatible, and the total system load is within the stated limit. Swap only identical compatible positions to isolate a component; contact Begaman before replacing or modifying parts.
Flicker can indicate a loose connection, an overloaded or incompatible driver, or a control that does not match the system. Disconnect power and compare every component with the product documentation. Do not continue operating an unstable installation.
Switch the system off and do not open or reuse the affected component. Photograph the installation, label and damage, then contact Begaman with the order number. Water exposure and remedy depend on the product's exact IP rating and installation position.
